Singer / Producer
There's a yearning for trust in Alex Nackman that manifests itself through honest songwriting about human connections. Having traveled the world, been lucky enough to share some incredible show bills (opening for Norah Jones, Zac Brown Band, The Roots, Buddy Guy, and many others), and release 6 albums, Nackman has established himself as a songwriter, producer, film-composer, and artist with staying power. William Ruhlmann of All Music Guide writes, "Nackman's throaty tenor is suggestive of Marc Cohn fronting Coldplay."
Nackman has drawn influence from Duran Duran, New Order, The Cure, Fleetwood Mac, and U2 among other New-Wave and early 90's British pop and electronic acts. Having written and placed music for HBO, NBC, CBS Sports, Verizon Wireless, Cadillac, Hyundai, and many others, Alex Nackman has covered all grounds between touring, songwriting, producing, and composing—spanning genres, musical styles, and mediums.
Named an MTV Buzzworthy Artist, an Apple iTunes Indie Spotlight Artist, and lauded by the BBC in London for his "electric fired gems," Nackman has pushed forward without looking back while working on an upcoming release, producing upcoming & established artists, and composing for television and film.
